The Global Expedition factory just completed remounting this Pangea on a low mileage 2001 F-550 with the 7.3 diesel engine. The Pangea box is 2012 which originally was mounted on a Mitsubishi truck. With that $200,000 upgrade, the state of Idaho issued a reassign VIN and the title reads 2019. The current owner moved to the F-550 for a 100HP gain as well as the 7.3 was the final year before def fluids and catalytic converters were required. The 7.3 can burn all of the high sulfur fuel in Mexico and South America. This Expedition rig is ready to use for your Western Hemisphere travels, or ready to be placed into a container to your next world travel destination. When in the lowered driving position, it's sleek sized provides areo dynamics and increased fuel economy. When stopped for the night, raise the roof to expose hard-side walls and dual-paned glass windows. Equipped with a large kitchen, 2 person dining, permanent slipping for 2 and a wet bath, the Pangea-LT lifting roof provides all amenities for world-class travel. Cabin heat and hot water are provided by with a diesel-fueled hydronic heater witch also pre heats the truck engine in cold weather. Pangea is a marvel of engineering. The roof lifts at a rapid speed. The body is a GVX Structural Composite Sandwich Panel that is 3.5 inches thick. With the roof lowered it's stable at Interstate speeds even in windy conditions. In the lowered position the camper can be accessed through the cab pass through or through the split door. --Body Specifications-- Camper Length 14'6" Camper Width 82" Cab to Cabin Access Rear Squared off for greater storage Lowering door integrated into body panels Manual Entry Step Rear Mount Spare Tire Energy-efficient LED Exterior Accessible Underbed Storage Compartment Dual Pane Glass Windows Low-profile skylight with integrated blinds and insect screen --Kitchen/Galley-- Upper and Lower Cabinets Stainless Steel Sink with single lever faucet Fagor Induction Cooktop, Singer Burner Vitrifrigo 2 Drawer Stainless steel marine refrigerator/freezer --Dining Area-- 2 person dining booth, converts to an additional sleeping area for 1 Adjustable slate table --Sleeping Area-- Full size bed 2 Storage below bed platform --Washroom-- Wet Bath with Shower and Thetford Cassette Toilet Teak floor and bench --Utilities & Technical Control Panel for Systems Management and Monitoring 12v with 120 with shore power inlet and interior outlets Solar Panels - Solbian marine-grade for all 12v DC and AC Circuits 400 amp hour Lithionics Lithium Battery LED Lighting --Climate Control-- Webasto Dual Top Integrated Heater Cabin Heater up to 8k Heating and cooling vents for upper bed area and main cabin Air Conditioner - 1200 BTU --Plumbing-- Fresh Water Supply, 40 gallons mounted within the insulated cabin Gray Water Tank - 22 gallons PEX water piping installed within the cabin Cartridge toilet dump -Finishes-- Cabinets Aluminum, powder coat Slate Countertops Vinyl flooring Slate tabletop 2001 Ford F-550 Standard cab with pass-thru to camper 200" wheel base Factory 19.5" dual rear wheels 7.3 Diesel The cab and chassis was owned by a Government entity that kept the miles low from new Easy to service worldwide This GVX unit was $380,000 new.
