This Defender 90 was imported from Biarritz France. 300 TDI engine with the R380 5 Speed manual transmission. Prior to shipping into the USA, this Turbo Diesel was treated to a major restoration. Over 35,000 euros went into the body and upholstery. This was a glass-out, bare metal paint job with all new hinges with stainless steel nuts and bolts. New glass was installed after the paintwork was completed. The doors were replaced and a new hood was sourced as more clearance was needed for the aftermarket AC. The 300 TDI engine was serviced but a rebuild was not needed. The brakes were rebuilt and a new master brake cylinder was installed along with new belts and a water pump.
