1985 Toyota Land Cruiser

Rare sighting of a legal BJ70 Legal import with all the paper work. The BJ70 was never produced for the US market. It's too bad the rest of the world gets all the cool diesels but here is your chance to get a clean import Toyota. This one was legally imported from Japan last year and has gained a bit of fame in the Land Cruiser wold. The previous owner imported this rig through landcruisersdirect.com and then it toured around Utah being photographed and published online at Land Cruiser events. Being from Japan, the rig features a fun and quirky right hand drive position that actually isn't hard to get the hang of. This is a 4X4, with a true transfer case that does function. The Land Cruiser features a 3B 3.4 liter diesel engine paired with a H55F 5-speed manual transmission, 2-speed direct transfer case, and 4:11 gears. There was a small amount of rear wheel lip rust present when we found it. We had that fixed and properly addressed prior to the full paint job. This is one nice BJ70 inside and out. All the lights and gauges work, clean interior with out rips or stains on the seats. This Toyota can cruise the open roads or with the short wheel base and small approach angle and rear overhang this is a very capable 4x4. Factory PTO winch with a new winch cable.
