1970 Volkswagen Type II Camper

This Camper Van is fabulous condition. This van has seen proper upkeep through the years but yet the factory interior is intact and complete. A mechanical and cosmetic restoration was completed in 2011 totaling over $20,000. The engine was rebuilt on 11.10.11 with 88,641 miles. The rebuild was complete with new valve guides, rings, rods, and cam bearings. Machine cased to 92 mm, giving you the 1800 CC engine. The case studs and inserts were also replaced and the fly wheel was beefed up from a 4 pin to 8 pins. At the time of the rebuild the transmission was rebuilt with all new sync rings as well. Other work noted, refurbished brakes, new brake lines, and replace CV joints. The body was painted in 2011 as well. The interior is so retro cool with new green upholstery. The upper and lower mattress has been redone with covers that match the upper and lower berths and curtains. The rubber flooring is new and the exterior paint while not freshly done is tight and done right.
