1968 Targa S with its matching numbers engine. This Targa S was the 132nd to be built and it came out of the factory with the Sportomatic transmission. The Sportomatic found few fans and unsurprisingly the transmission has been replaced with a five speed. It was originally a Tangerine car with a black leather interior. Factory, optional equipment 'Webasto' heater, Sportomatic, Fixed tinted rear, Halogen fog lights, Dunlop tires. If you want a '68 that isn't Concourse and you can drive with out fear of rock chips or getting it dirty this is your car. Very nice and original interior other than the front seats that have been recovered. All the glass is good, tight body and sound mechanics. The Targa has obviously picked up a paint job somewhere it's life, this is a un restored Porsche. It would make a good candidate based on it's condition and the fact it hasn't been apart. As our mechanic Wolfgang was going the through the car he noted and pointed out the correct factory fasteners were present and original. Due note that the bonnet has a silver wrap and we have not taken the wrap to expose the paint underneath.
