This is a special truck, fantastic blend of patina, new parts in the right places and reliable driving. I found this rust free truck and knew it needed another chapter. Too good of truck to let it slip any further. Biggest job from the get go was going to be the exhaust leak in the engine bay. Manifold bolts just are not going to come twisting out after 48 years of being super heated and cooled. We took the engine down to the block and sent the heads off to be rebuilt. The heads had a magnaflux inspection and were resurfaced on three sides, Valve stems were upgraded with oil seals, springs were checked and adjusted. With the engine bay sorted out and giving excellent compression it was time to move on to the rest of truck. Here is the list, New black steel wheels and New Firestone tires, Fresh spray in bed liner, found a tail gate and painted it to match, replaced missing trim, New bench seat, New flooring, Replaced turn signal switch upgraded the headlights and put in a new rear window seal and replaced the windshield.
