This 1965 Convertible Mustang is set up for good times. The factory six-cylinder has been replaced with a 289 V8. The builder of this classic understood that if you are going to upgrade the power, it's a good idea to upgrade the brakes as well. That was done and now power DISC brakes are on all four wheels. Other upgrades include the ignition system, cooling system, and an aftermarket rack and pinion system that makes for solid and easy steering. The aluminum radiator is larger which can handle the after-market Air Conditioning system. The interior was well thought out as well. While not correct your back will appreciate the cloth insets on all seats. Who likes to start sweating five minutes into a cruise on hot black vinyl seats? The cloth inserts are a brilliant touch and look great. The power convertible top is in top shape and operates flawlessly. If you are looking for a classic for summer cruising, you have found it.
